Kurdish Language and Culture Week

Ishik Primary Schools Kurdish Language department organized second Kurdish Language and Culture Week. It’s an annual showcase for the students to show their talents on the stage in front of the audiences. Preparation started three months before. School selection has been done in four different categories (Song, Poem, Talent and Essay writing). Selected students in their school deserved to compete in the Grand final.

Final day arrived and in front of thousands of audiences’ students shown great performances and successful students awarded in each category with different prizes. At the end of the show, audiences were extremely impressed with what the children presented on stage in Saad Abdullah Hall. It takes a great deal of courage and skill to perform in front of around 1000 people – and inspire them with songs and dances.
